Terms of Use

Accepting these terms

By using Plan My Payoff you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Educational estimates, not financial advice

Plan My Payoff provides general educational tools. Nothing on this site is financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, and using the calculators does not create an advisory relationship. The calculators use simplified monthly interest math and assume fixed rates, on-time payments and no new charges or fees. Your lender's compounding method, fees, promotional rates and payment posting dates will produce different results. Check your statements and speak with a qualified professional before making decisions about your debt.

Accuracy

We work to keep the math and explanations correct, but the site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Results depend on the figures you enter, and inaccurate inputs produce inaccurate outputs.

Acceptable use

You may use the calculators freely for personal and professional purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site, scrape it in a way that degrades service for others, or republish its content as your own.

Intellectual property

The site's name, text, design and code are owned by Plan My Payoff and protected by applicable law. The plan summaries you generate from your own figures are yours to keep, print and share.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plan My Payoff and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from decisions made in reliance on its output, including lost savings, additional interest or other financial loss.

Links to other sites

Any links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always posted here with its date. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. See also our Privacy Policy.
