The short version
Plan My Payoff is a set of free debt payoff calculators. The balances, interest rates and payments you type into a calculator are processed by JavaScript in your own browser. They are not transmitted to us, not written to a database and not stored on any server we control. Closing or refreshing the page clears them.
Information you enter
The calculators do not ask for your name, email address, account numbers or any other identifying detail, and there is no login. Because the calculations happen locally, we never see the figures you enter. If you print or save a summary of your plan, that copy exists only on your own device.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider records standard technical request data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of the request. This is used to serve the site and to keep it secure and available. We may also use privacy-respecting aggregate analytics to understand which pages are visited; that data is reported in aggregate and is not used to identify individual visitors.
Cookies
The calculators do not require cookies to work. If we introduce anything that sets cookies — for example advertising or a preferences feature — this page will be updated first, and where required we will ask for your consent before those cookies are set.
Third parties
The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. Those providers handle that request under their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent or share personal information, and we do not operate advertising on the site at this time.
Children
Plan My Payoff is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13.
